History

The Victory In Christ Bible Church was divinely developed as a result of persecution for righteousness. In 1985, after the passing of Superintendant W.F. Faust, Sr., his son was called to a full-time pastorate of the Faust Temple Church of God In Christ which his father pastored for 45 years. God saved souls under the leadership of Elder W.F. Faust, Jr. and brought to fruition the successful completion of a new church building which was part of his father's vision. As Elder Faust preached the truth of God's Word and prepared for the dedication of the new edifice, dissension arose among a small group concerning the doctrine of the Word of God. The Jurisdictional Bishop dismissed Elder Faust as pastor.

With freedom, renewed strength and direction from The Lord, Pastor Faust founded a new congregation, becoming fully incorporated as Victory In Christ Bible Church in 1989, the new congregation met in community centers, other churches, even at a school before finally reaching their home at 2525 West Edgewood Avenue on Father's Day 1995. Our new home was a vacant warehouse building that was converted to become the home of Victory In Christ Bible Church.

The ministry has expanded, providing services for all age groups.
